Pros

The Victorian architecture retains much of its original charm.

Free parking is available for guests.

Proximity to Felixstowe Beach and local landmarks.

Multiple dining options, including British cuisine and afternoon tea.

Event spaces accommodate up to 300 guests.

Cons

Some rooms feature showers over baths rather than separate walk-in showers.

The hotel is 95 km from London Stansted Airport.

“The Orwell Hotel strikes me as a grand, historic property undergoing positive change. Its location near the town center and railway offers practical convenience, balanced by the charm of a vintage aesthetic. I noted particularly the spacious, clean rooms and the consistently helpful staff.”
